Welcome to the Salon des Refusés, a show for everyone! WMCA excited to have this exhibit to bring artists from coast to coast to the heart of America.
The exhibit is be displayed “Salon-Style” including work of art that MUST have been entered in a juried exhibit or competition, (within the last two years), and been rejected!
In other words, hundreds of works will hang from floor to ceiling!
The origins of this exhibit…
In French painting, the term “Salon des Refusés” refers to an art exhibition held in Paris, in 1863, to show paintings that had been rejected by the selection committee of the “Paris Salon” – the official annual showcase of French art.
We are excited to have this exhibit to bring artists from coast to coast to the heart of America.

Cabaret Alive
October 12th, 4-9PM
Appointment and by appointment
Blue Parrot, Chicago IL
I have been back in Chicago and working on a Tv show called 61st street, where I met Holt Mccalanny who told me about his mother Julie Wilson, also referred to as the Queen of Cabaret. The more I learnt about her the more I get attached.
On October the 16th, I will show works inspired by her and the body of work that 2020 brought out of me.
When I put the inspirations from 2020 together I realised how big of an impact I felt African American women had in last year's election.

... the opening of my monthly art event-series at Trap Door theater. While the world is slowly opening, I want to share the fruits of my studio in this very accessible setting at my Artistic Home.
I will show small paintings inspired by sightings at Ponce City market in Atlanta, and the great people who made "The Savoy" a wonderful home for me and my art.
I hope I can see you there.
